without noticing, you're not running KDE 4! 
The feed url is http://developer.kde.org/~dirk/dashboard/index.rss. I even added it to my cell phone

What kind of mobile phone do you have that it can receive rss feeds? And how can you afford such a service, I thought data services via mobile phone still cost quite a lot of money even in Germany?
It's a Sony Ericcson K770i, so its not even a smartphone, yet. I like it, because it is quite compact and doesn't look like a cheap block of plastic that was designed for the teen ring tone downloader.
it is not too heavy, and has all the features I want
 As far as I know almost all recent phones can do RSS reading, have a relatively good web browsers (and this particular phone even has a screen resolution so that it actually is fun to do e.g. ebay via your mobile  ).
Internet for your mobile is not really expensive anymore, it is currently advertised almost everywhere in Germany and you can get ~ 200 MB per month for about 8€ or about 5 GB of data for about 25 €.

wow! in Belgium I am still paying 6 € for only 7.5MB/month!! internet prices (both desktop and mobile) are simply insane here :/

hi,
I only came to know about dashboard recently and I think it's really handy! first thing I did was subscribing to the rss feed (the guy pointing me to the site didn't know it has rss
)
But next thing is: it would also be really handy to get notification when a build is fixed. Don't know if that's possible..
